Bekomat Functions
BEKOMAT discharges condensate without compressed air loss, reducing energy costs and CO₂ emissions. This is made possible by its integrated capacitive sensor, intelligent electronics for volume-controlled condensate discharge, and a proven pilot-controlled solenoid valve with a special discharge diaphragm.
The BEKOMAT series offers not only the right solution for nearly every application but also the most energy-efficient option, including standard units 12, 13, 14, and 16. The integrated capacitive sensor for volume-controlled condensate discharge contributes to energy savings and increases efficiency—just what you expect from BEKOMAT.
Unnecessary costs and damage in compressed air generation can only be effectively prevented with volume-controlled condensate discharge. That’s why BEKOMAT uses a capacitive sensor to operate its condensate drain. Intelligent electronics prevent compressed air losses and minimize energy consumption. As a result, electronically controlled condensate drainage typically pays for itself within six months compared to devices with timer-controlled drain valves.
Depending on climate and temperature conditions, varying amounts of condensate (condensation water) may form.
For this reason, the performance values for BEKOMAT® models are specified based on three different climate zones:
• GREEN ZONE: Northern Europe, Canada, Northern USA, Central Asia
• BLUE ZONE: Central and Southern Europe, Central America
• RED ZONE: Coastal regions of Southeast Asia, Oceania, Amazon and Congo basins

Bekomat® 03/06 / LA / LALP
If the compressor operating pressure drops below 0.8 bar (for example, during idling in multi-stage compressors), an additional valve does not open. The condensate can then drain without pressure. When the operating pressure exceeds 0.8 bar again, the drain valve closes and the BEKOMAT operates in standard mode.
The LP version is specifically designed for operating pressures that can drop as low as 0.4 bar. High-pressure versions are available for operating pressures up to PN 25 and/or PN 63 bar.

The Bekomat® VAC condensate drain is specifically designed to discharge condensate and other media from negative pressure and vacuum systems operating at 0.1 - 1.8 bar (absolute) operating pressure. It is also suitable for processes conducted under normal atmospheric conditions. To meet your specific requirements, the robust, volume-controlled condensate drain is available in a hard-coated version or manufactured in stainless steel.

The BEKOMAT 20 FM with integrated filter management (filter condition time indicator and filter status monitoring) is a cost-effective monitoring solution for the connected filter element. Bekomat® 31/33
The innovative design of the BEKOMAT 31U, 32U, 33U, and 33U CO series enables simplified operation, installation, and maintenance with minimal time required. The devices consist of up to three units combined with quick-release connectors. Control and sensor units are installed only once; for maintenance, only the service unit (including all wear and pressure parts) needs to be replaced. This robust condensate drain is suitable for both oil-lubricated and oil-free, aggressive condensates.
A service indicator provides timely information about upcoming maintenance and/or service unit replacement. All wear and pressure-loaded components can be accessed with one hand. No electrical wiring or assembly of seals and single components is required. The installation concept is especially user-friendly and time-saving: the device needs to be connected electrically only once. The robust housing is also waterproof according to IP67. BEKOMAT 31U | 32U allows easy connection to the compressed air system with a pressure adapter.
If the service unit of the BEKOMAT 33U is disconnected from the power supply and condensate collection reservoir, the supply tank remains permanently connected to the compressed air system. This saves time and effort during maintenance.
