Compressed air is a costly form of energy, and 20% to 40% of it is lost due to leaks. Systematically checking and eliminating these leaks can therefore lead to significant energy savings. With the Leakshooter® LKS1000-V2T+ IR, you can detect, visualize, and photograph the precise point where compressed air, steam, pressurized gases, or vacuum are leaking.

The Leakshooter® LKS1000-V2T+ IR is a sophisticated device. It is extremely sensitive and can detect all leaks, including the smallest ones, from a distance of 20 meters—even those no larger than the tip of a syringe needle. Thanks to its adjustable ambient noise setting, the device filters out unwanted sounds and can detect leaks in any industrial environment.

The Leakshooter® LKS1000-V2T+ IR is used like a camera. As it approaches a leak, a dynamic white target appears on the large color screen. The target shrinks as it gets closer to the source of the leak. A bar graph at the bottom of the screen accompanies the search and makes it easier. When pointed toward the leak, a cross appears at the center of the target. It is then possible to photograph and save the exact location of the leak. Photos can be uploaded directly to a PC via a USB cable (included with the product) and are ready to be added to inspection reports. While visually searching for a leak, it is still possible to use the traditional leak detection method by listening to the hissing sound using professional headphones that can be plugged directly into the device.

The embedded thermal IR camera enables full-screen T° analysis with Min.-Max.-Center cursors (-10 °C > +400 °C). Various accessories are available for the Leakshooter® LKS1000-V2T+ IR, allowing it to be used for other applications as well.
