The flow meter measures flow rate, pressure, and temperature in compressed air, and can be used for efficiency studies and compressed air consumption analysis. There are two types of installation for flow meters: insertion-type and inline-type. These flowmeters can be used in dry air (after dryer) and wet air (compressor outlet) applications and measurements.

What types of flow meters do you offer?

Our flow meters are divided into three main categories:

• Probe: For measuring clean gases with pipe diameters of 2” and above, suitable for after the dryer and filter.
• In-line (between pipe): For measuring clean gases with pipe diameters of 2” and below, suitable for after the dryer and filter.
• DP: For measuring moist compressed air with pipe diameters of 2” and above, suitable for after the compressor and before the dryer.
• M (Thermal): For measuring clean gases with pipe diameters of 2” and above, suitable for after the dryer and filter.

Additionally, we also offer our Dew Point sensor, developed for extremely dry air.

Do you have a monitoring system for your flow meters?

Our flow meters can be monitored via the Modbus communication system. They can be connected to the SCADA system at your facility or monitored through VP Instruments’ own monitoring software, VPVISION.

Which fluids and gases can your flow meters measure?

It is used for industrial gas flow monitoring and sub-measurement (N2, O2, He, Ar, CO2, and other dry, non-corrosive industrial gases).

What is the warranty period for your flow meters?

Our VPInstruments brand devices come with a 2-year warranty (valid for products purchased from October 2024 onwards).

How are your flow meters connected to the system?

The communication system of our flow meters connects to the management system via RS485 (Modbus RTU) and/or Ethernet (Modbus/TCP). The connection type is an M12, 5-pin, female connector.
