Maintenance Process

Regular maintenance, calibration, and inspection are required at specific intervals to ensure the accurate and efficient operation of flow meters. This process preserves the device’s sensitivity and improves measurement accuracy. Here are the main steps involved in flow meter maintenance:

1. Visual Inspection
The outer surface of the flow meter is carefully examined to detect any physical damage, dirt, or blockages. For models with filters, the filter housing is cleaned, and if necessary, new filters and O-rings are installed.

2. Airflow Check
It is tested whether the flow meter measures airflow accurately by connecting it to the computer system. The consistency of measurement values is checked, and the device’s calibration status is evaluated.

3. Electrical Connections and Settings
The device’s electrical connections are reviewed to identify any connection issues. Adjustments are made if needed to ensure full compatibility with the system.

4. Periodic Performance Test
The overall performance of the flow meter is tested to verify accuracy and system integration. Additional adjustments are made if necessary.

5. Delivery to Customer and Overseas Inspection Process
If maintenance and repairs can be completed at our Istanbul central office, the flow meter is delivered to the customer as soon as possible. However, for more extensive calibration or technical inspection needs, the device is sent to the manufacturer’s headquarters in the Netherlands. There, all routine checks, calibration procedures, and detailed tests are conducted. After completing the inspection process, the device is returned to Turkey and delivered to the customer.

Regular maintenance ensures the flow meter’s long service life and precise measurement while helping prevent potential performance losses.
