The Oilfreepac™ Smart OFP is an advanced purification unit designed to provide clean, dry, and completely oil-free compressed air. Unlike conventional heatless adsorption dryers, it effectively removes hydrocarbons and other vapors through integrated activated carbon filters, making it an ideal solution for critical applications requiring oil-free and odorless air.

Dryer Features

Four-Stage Compressed Air Purification

• Integrated pre-filter captures solid particles and liquid aerosols (oil/water).
• Adsorption dryer adsorbs moisture from compressed air down to a dew point of -70 °C / -94 °F at 70% nominal load (standard: -40 °C / -40 °F).
• Subsequent activated carbon treatment stage adsorbs oil vapors, hydrocarbons, taste, and odor.
• In the final step, remaining solid particles down to 0.01 μm are retained by the integrated post-filter.

Thanks to this four-stage purification system, air quality compliant with ISO 8573-1:2010 standards is achieved, reaching quality classes 1-2:1-2:1.

Ultrasorp AKC Smart Oil-Free Adsorption Dryer

The Ultrasorp AKC Smart is an activated carbon adsorber that protects sensitive production processes by removing oil vapors and hydrocarbons. This system can be used individually or connected in series. Its modular design allows for highly flexible installation and easy adaptation to your available space. The built-in oil indicator ensures high operational safety and enables accurate measurement of residual oil content at all times. The flow-optimized design is resistant to pressure and flow fluctuations with low pressure loss. Almost no startup time is needed to reach the required dew point. Individual cartridges provide convenience for easy servicing. Installation height is not an issue, as cartridges can be replaced individually, offering additional advantages for inventory management.

UltraPleat™ Filtration Elements
• Efficient Operation: UltraPleat filtration technology employs a new structure, processing coated high-tech fibers into pleated filter media for high-efficiency removal of liquid particles and large adsorption capacity for solid particles. The multilayer design of the new filter media is optimized for ideal aerodynamic conditions and offers a filter surface area 400% larger than conventional pleated media. ≥ 99.9% efficiency is achieved for oil aerosol removal.

Overview

The Ultrasorp AKC is an activated carbon adsorber designed to remove oil vapors and hydrocarbons. AKC models feature a built-in oil indicator and are available in flow ranges from 10 to 8,750 m³/h (6 to 5,150 scfm). These systems are manufactured and tested for temperatures up to 50°C (122°F).

A sub-micron filter positioned at the inlet side of the AKC prevents oil carryover to the activated carbon, ensuring efficient purification.
